Welcome to Hilary Upton Photography and the official online shop!

Photographer and Artist Hilary Upton holds a BFA from Elam School of Fine Arts. A four-year degree that she completed at the end of 2002. After graduating Hilary spent a number of years living and working in London, where she established a portfolio of work that is sold all over the world. Returning home to New Zealand in 2008 Hilary began photographing New Zealand landscapes. These works are sold both here and internationally. Her work is well liked for its vintage style and for evoking a sense of nostalgia with its audience. Through her photography you will often find mesmerising images of the ocean and its sea shore. Photography also shows homage to her British ancestry with sweet, allusive images of flowers from the English Garden (in particular the rose). Other favourite subjects include romantic cities, vintage toys, tea and baking! “By owning a piece of Hilary Upton photography I hope you will find you lose yourself in it – thinking of happy memories”.
